Travelers with Motorcycle more than 250cc are now allowed to enter, cross borders and ride in Iran, published by Iranian Tour Operators Association on 6th August 2019.
In Summer 2018 TACI (Touring & Automobile Club of the Islamic Republic of Iran) made an announcement: “Motorcycles over 250cc are illegal in Iran also for temporary importation”. More or less Crossing Iran borders was a matter of concern for independent travelers who wish to explore Iran with private motorcycles. Yet, according to most update news of Private Motorcycles Entry Permit the temporary ban of Crossing Motorcycles above 250cc is waived.
