Itinerary
Day 1: Khorramshahr- Shush
Arrival to Iran, Khorramshahr, our agent holding our logo show cart will welcome you.
As soon as you arrive, you will leave toward Shush. Overnight Shush.
Day 2: Shush-Shushtar- Lorestan
Start your day by visiting Chogha-Zanbil and Haft Tappeh. Then drive to Shushtar and visit Hydraulic system there. After that leave toward Khorram Abad and overnight there.
Day 3: Khorram Abad- Kermanshah
Today you will visit the Falak-ol-Aflak Castle. Then drive toward Kermanshah and overnight in Kermanshah.
Day 4: Kermanshah- Zanjan
Today you are supposed to see another World Heritage Site, the significant Bisotun Complex to learn about Iran History through its magnificent mythical reliefs. In the afternoon go on with the visit of the Taq-e Bostan area and reliefs in Kermanshah. In the afternoon, beautiful light, lots of locals wandering around the lake, plenty of restaurants nearby where you can have the ubiquitous Dande kebabs. Then depart to Zanjan. Overnight Zanjan.
Day 5: Zanjan- Tabriz
An excursion to Soltanieh Dome that is the highest and biggest raw brick made dome in Iran and the UNESCO world heritage site and the third largest Dome in the world after Santa Maria Dome and Hagia Sophia Dome. We return to Zanjan and start a city tour to visit the traditional Laundry House that belongs to Qajar Era and called Rakhtshoor-khaneh, Saltman museum Zanjan, Traditional Bazar where you can find many beautiful handicrafts and Hamam e Haj Dadash (Haj Dadash bathhouse).
Leave Zanjan toward Tabriz in the afternoon and overnight in Tabriz.
Day 6: Tabriz
Having breakfast at a hotel or at a unique place like Café-un and then starting Tabriz city tour with a walk in the old bazaar. Tabriz Bazaar is a UNESCO world heritage site, famous to be the longest roofed bazaar in the world! The section of Tabriz woven carpet shops are the most attractive parts, make sure you don’t miss it!
Walking to the Clock tower, visiting the most famous square of Tabriz and the outside view of the municipality palace. Then keep walking to Goy Mosque (also known as blue mosque), the most beautiful site in Tabriz.
Yaghout is a restaurant nearby Goy Mosque, there you can have a delicious Persian kebab to regain the energy for the remaining day.
Overnight in Tabriz.
Day 6: Tabriz- Takab (Takhte Suleyman)/ Babak Castle/ Kandovan
On this day, you will have 3 different options, you can choose one of the below sites to visit based on your preference:
1) Takht-e Soleyman
2) Babak Castle
3) Kandovan Village
Day 8: Depart
Ride to Bazargan city at Iran-Azerbaijan border and on way visiting St. Stephanos Monastery at Jolfa and the Aras riverside.
