Itinerary

Day 1: TEHRAN to ZANJAN via SOLTANIYEH

Arrive in to Tehran airport in the morning via Qatar Airways
Starting our memorable Iran tour with the greetings of an expert English or Chinese speaking local guide. From Tehran we will directly drive toward Zanjan. One of the most interesting things to do in Zanjan is visiting Soltaniyeh Dome, splendid mausoleum and Mihrab of Oljeitu.
Half day tour in Zanjan, visiting Rakhtshooy Khaneh (Wash house) and Zanjan Jame mosque.

Day 2: ZANJAN to MASULEH

A winding drive to the village of Masouleh. Arrive to the local house in which will stay and perhaps head out for a stroll around the village in the early evening.

Day 3: MASULEH to ARDABIL via BANDAR ANZALI

Drive through the mountains to the Caspian coast and the port of Bandar e Anzali. In Bandar Anzali visiting Lotus flower fields in Anzali Lagoons.
Continue on to Ardebil and visit the Sheikh Safi Od Din Mausoleum, a remarkable Saffavid complex, which is one of the UNESCO World Heritage sites in Iran.

On the way driving to Tabriz, visiting Ancient city of Shahr Yeri, a hidden gem of Persian history. Keep exploring Azerbaijan district, looking for some adrenaline at Meshgin Shahr Suspension Bridge then drive to Tabriz.

Driving north through the mountains to the small town of Jolfa, the church of St Stepanos and Aras River.

Day 6: TABRIZ to TAKAB via TAHKT E SOLEIMAN (Azar Goshnasb Fire Temple)

Visit Kandovan in a half day tour, a village of troglodyte caves, drive south to visit Takht e Soleiman, where is known to be the capital of Ashkanid dynasty. Visit the 1500 year old fortress walls, the remains of a 13th century Mongolian hunting lodge, Zendan e Soleiman. Continue on to Takab.

Day 7: TAKAB to URAMANAT TAKHT via LAKE ZARIVAR

After a walk around Zaribar Lake, we’ll drive south into a region of Kurdish villages where locals still wear traditional dress. Visit the village of Uraman Takht and take a walk around the village and have lunch here.

Day 8: URAMAN TAKHT to KERMANSHAH

Driving to Kermanshah, visiting the Jameh Mosque of Shafeii, the greatest suni mosque of Iran and then exploring Moaven Ol-molk Tekyeh.
One of the most recommended things to do in Kermanshah is visiting Taqe Bostan, a series of Sassanian bas-reliefs showing Ardashir II and his son Shahpur III. Inside a cave is a large and detailed bas-relief giving them the reputation for some of the best in the country.

Day 9: KERMANSHAH to HAMEDAN

Head East to Kangovar where the ruins of a temple dedicated to Anahita lie strewn across the ground. Drive on to Bisotun, where a great cliff rising up is home to Darius’ most famous inscription in three languages. Visiting the Hegmataneh city and Avecinna Tomb then head to the capital of Iran, Tehran.
