This 2.5 Days tour starts from Tehran with a charming experienced tourist guide at 4 PM, and you will be back in Tehran 2 days later about 9 pm.
This tour considering the least possible private transportation, supporting local eco-lodges will be operated by Rasht local tour guides to take one small step for sustainable tourism and encourage the local community.
After meeting the tour guide, we’ll drive to Gilan province, Masuleh, a beautiful village. The drive takes 5 hours, and we’ll stay in the beautiful village houses for the night.
Overnight in Masuleh
Today we open our eyes while finding ourselves in a lovely small village with magnificent nature. After having a delicious breakfast, we’ll walk around and, based on time, visit the Masuleh waterfall.
Drive to Fuman village, trying some Fuman cookies, which are the best cookies in Iran! A taste that all Iranians are familiar with! Then we’ll visit the Castle of thousand stairs!
How many stairs does Qaleh Rudkhan have? 1620 Stairs!
It looks hard to climb up 1620 stairs of Qaleh Rudkhan! Why should you go up the Rudkhan Castel after One Hundred Twenty Stairs? Because of the spectacular Forest and the old little castle worth it!
After visiting the Rudkhan Castle, we’ll drive to Rasht city and on the way based on time visiting Saqalaksar Lake or Gilan Heritage Museum.
Overnight in a local Eco lodge in Rasht
Today we’ll start the day by visiting the Caspian Sea and having breakfast at the coast. Then we drive to the Anzali beautiful lagoons. It’ll be so fun to reach the lagoons all of a sudden within a short boat ride. The best time to visit Anzali lagoons is May when the Lotus flowers are making the Lagoon twice beautiful.
After lunch, we will enjoy the rest of our day by walking in Rasht Grocery Bazaar, visiting the municipally square (Shahrdari Square), and then we say goodbye to our guide and take a train to Tehran.
