Day 1: Mashhad

Iran Salam!

Arrival in Mashhad and we’ll start our tour with the welcoming of FriendlyIran Agents.

After a transfer to hotel, we’ll go to Imam Reza Shrine, visiting Goharshad Jame mosque and the beautiful shrine.

After breakfast, we’ll have an excursion to Tous, to visit Ferdowsi Tomb. He was a great poet of Iran and was most famous for his book, Shahnameh. People believe that he was the survivor of the Persian language.

For lunch we’ll visit Torghabeh, this small city is very nice and they sale Saffron, fruity and dairy sour products, precious natural stones and etc.

Today we’ll have an excursion to Neishabur, visiting tomb of Omar Khayam and Kamal ol Molk and Attar Neyshaburi Tomb.

Omar Khayam is famous and beloved for his sight aspect on life, death, and love, besides he is the inventor of the Solar Calendar.

Kamal almolk was a great artist, his was favourite painter of Shah in Pahlavi Era.

Attar Neyshaburi was a Persian Muslim poet and theoretician of Sufism.

Hello Shiraz! Shahre Raz, meaning the city of Secrets!

Today we explore Shiraz, starting from the most beautiful mosque of Iran! The bride of Mosques! Nasir almolk Mosque! The best time to visit this mosque is in the morning and before noon. This mosque was made in Qajar dynasty by a member of the Royal family, with precious ornaments and beautiful architecture. Once you get in, you will find yourself in a garden full of roses! After that we’ll visit Qavam house and Zinatol molk house, these two Qajarid houses are actually a single house! But in two parts!

Then we will visit the Vakil Bazaar, the lovely Zandieh Bath, called Vakil Bath. At end, we’ll visit outside view of Karimkhan Citadel this little citadel, will conquer your heart.

Excursion to Kazeroon city, there we’ll be visiting Bishapour old town which was based 1975 years ago. After that, visit Tange Chogan Basreliefs of Sassanid Kings. Based on the time step by Parishan Lake and enjoying nature. Drive back to Shiraz

Visiting Eram Garden, this heaven is a gathering of so many kinds of planets and its a botanical type of Garden. Then we’ll visit tomb of Hafez, a poet who lived in Shiraz and dedicated his life to write mysterious poems. Goethe the famous German poet had a special respect and love for Hafez.

After a delicious lunch, we’ll go to Shah Cheragh Shrine.

Day 7: Shiraz – Persepolis- Necropolis – Pasargadae– Shiraz

Have an excurstion to the Achaemenid period, we’ll visit Persepolis, the complex of Achaemenid dynasty, where the people used to celebrate Norooz, the new year ceremony. The picture history of bas-reliefs in the Apadana palace still tells the story of 2500 years ago. Then We’ll visit Necropolis and then Tomb of Cyrus, in Pasargadae. Getting to know this respected king who established the first great emperor of the world.

Day 8: Shiraz- Yazd

Breakfast and then drive to the UNESCO world heritage historical city, Yazd. On the way visiting Old Cypress of Abarkooh, which has seen the world for 4000 years! This tree is one of the oldest trees in the world!

In Yazd, we’ll visit Dolat Abad Garden, a UNESCO world heritage Persian garden which consists of a summer house with a very tall wind catcher.

City tour in Yazd , we’ll visit the Zoroastrian Fire Temple, where the Zoroastrians worship the Fire! One of the sacred elements of life. People say that the fire inside is on for hundred years.Visiting The Tower of Silence (the Dakhma) the cemetery of Zoroastrian people in ancient times. Amir Chakhmaq Meydoon (Square). We’ll visit the splendid Jame mosque of Yazd and Water museum. Then we’ll walk in old part of Yazd, called Fahadan. There is a mysterious joy in walking in the tiny alleys of Fahadan.

Drive to Esfahan, On the way we’ll visit Naein Jameh mosque, and The Narin Castle of Meybod and the city landscape.

Breakfast then visiting Flower Garden and Aquarium. This Aquarium is 4000 meter vast and is home to 300 kinds of Fishes and 6 kinds of Sharks. We’ll visit Birds Garden.

Day 12: Esfahan

Breakfast at hotel, then let’s go to Naghshe Jahan Square the greatest square in Iran, with stories behind. The Jameh Mosque (Shah Mosque) which was built after the name of Shah Abbas Safavi, one of the most famous leaders in Iran history. Sheikh Lotfollah mosque! would be our next destination, you’ll never get tired of watching the tiling in this beautiful mosque. Ali Qapu the palace for the Safavid Kings is the next place that we visit, it’s Music room is the most beloved part in the palace.

We will also visit Qeisarieh Bazaar, to get to know the Isfahan Handicrafts and sweets and buy some for families.

Chehel Sotoon palace-garden which is named as one of the Persian Gardens in UNESCO is a place you should never miss. Listening to the stories behind the wall painting would be very pleasant.

Today we’ll walk in the residential area of Armenians in Esfahan, the area is called Jolfa. In the Jolfa region we’ll visit the Vank Cathedral, the most famous church of Esfahan. The painting inside this Church is truly eye-catching. In the museum, you can see a single hair with an Armenian sentence on it. We will also go to Esfahan Music Museum, where we can hear the traditional music of Iran. In Jolfa we have time to walk and explore its cozy shops, that reminds us the Azeri shops of Azerbaijan.

Visiting Esfahan Jameh mosque. This mosque was built by 4 different eras and is the first mosque with 4 courtyards.

In the night we’ll walk next to Zayande Rood River, wondering on Sio Sepol bridge and Khaju bridge, and maybe have some coffee in the lovely coffee shop on the Khaju bridge, called Café Farhang.

Day 14: Esfahan – Natanz and Abyaneh- Kashan

Breakfast, drive to Esfahan, we’ll have a quick stop in Natanz at the Jameh mosque and Sufi Sheikh Abad al Samad. Have some free time in Abyaneh and then drive to Kashan.

Day 15: Kashan – Qom – Tehran

Today we’ll start our day visiting Boroujerdi and Tabatabaei houses remained from Qajar Era. The houses of Kashan seems to be so simple from outside, but once you get in there, you’ll find yourself in splendid rooms with so many artistic ornaments.

After lunch, we’ll go to Fin Garden, a Safavid garden which is entitled to UNESCO world heritage Persian gardens.

Driving to the capital of Iran, Tehran, this locates in the centre of the land of Persia. Tehran has been Iran capital since the Qajar Era. In this dynasty, Tehran has been developed and Qajar Kings have built so many Gardens-Palaces and also museums there.

Breakfast then we’ll go to Golestan Palace-Garden, the Shamsol Emareh palace. Shamsol Emareh means the building of the sun; it’s the most beloved palace of Golestan Complex. 7 Qajarid King and 2 Pahlavid King have held the crowning ceremony there.

We’ll walk in Tehran Grand Bazaar, enjoying the vibe of Persian traditional business. Visiting the Historical-Time Tunnel at the National Museum of Iran, where you can have an aspect of Iran’s history at the time. There are objects from thousands of years ago up to now.

Breakfast at hotel, then visiting Milad Tower and Saadabad Complex, visiting the stunning Garden and Pahlavid White palace and Farshchian Paintings which are now museums. Having lunch then visiting Imam Zadeh Saleh Shrine.

Last day! Today we leave Iran, but the memories will stay in our heart! We will keep the friendly people, tasty foods and beautiful attractions in our mind.

After breakfast, we’ll go to Shopping Malls to buy some souvenirs and then transfer to the airport.
