Location and description

Maranjab desert is located in the north of Aran and Bidgol city in Isfahan province. The ancient city of Kashan is about 38 miles away. The Maranjab desert is surrounded by the salt lake of Aran and Bidgol to the north, while the south is bordered by the cities of Aran and Bidgol. The east of the desert is outlined by the desert of the sand dam and the west delimited by the desert of Massileh.

Kashan is famous for the carpet trade and for the homes of the wealthy merchants who lived there: Tabātabāei house is an example of Persian residential architecture from the end of the 19th century. We will also be able to admire the Sultan Amir Ahmad Bath, a 1600 hammam from whose roof you can enjoy an enchanting view of the city.
