Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Rasht
Drive from Tehran to Rasht. Get picked up by your local host. Short walking tour of the old town and traditional bazaar. First dinner in a local home ,soulful, messy, unforgettable.
Day 2: Masuleh & Fuman Adventure
Early morning drive through misty hills to the mountain village of Masuleh. Visit hidden tea houses and taste Fuman’s famous cookies. Evening by the fire in a guesthouse with storytelling and live music.
Day 3: Chillin’ by the Caspian
Take a slow day along the Caspian Sea. Ride bikes along the coast, eat fresh fish, and maybe join a beach volleyball match. At night, enjoy a seafood BBQ with locals.
Day 4: Tehran Urban Dive
Drive or fly to Tehran. Check in at a cozy hostel in downtown. Rooftop tea, funky street art walk, and introduction to Iran’s youth scene. End the night at a laid-back live music café.
Day 5: Tehran Unfiltered
Visit a mix of classic sites (Golestan Palace, Grand Bazaar) and secret corners (abandoned cinemas, old bookstores, flea markets). Try dizi for lunch. Optional art gallery hopping in the afternoon.
Day 6: Road to Kashan
Stop at the salt lake on the way. In Kashan, explore the historical houses, then join a Persian cooking session in a local kitchen. Overnight in a traditional house.
Day 7: Desert Light & Silence
Short trip to Maranjab desert. Ride camels, sandboard if you’re into it, and watch the sunset with tea brewed on firewood. Night in the desert or return to Kashan.
Day 8: On to Isfahan
Arrival in Isfahan. Walk along the bridges at sunset, share stories by the river, try biryani for dinner. Stay in a guesthouse near Naqsh-e Jahan Square.
Day 9: Isfahan Vibes
Visit famous sites but also take breaks in student cafés. Meet a calligrapher, or maybe a local tattoo artist. Chill afternoon in an old caravanserai turned into a lounge.
Day 10: Shiraz Bound
Drive to Shiraz, stopping at Pasargadae. Evening walk in the old quarter, then drinks (non-alcoholic) in a poetry-themed café. Sleep in a garden house.
Day 11: Poetic Shiraz
Explore Persepolis in the morning. Later, visit Hafez’s tomb and talk about life. Try faloodeh in the bazaar, listen to young street musicians at night.
Day 12: Last Wanderings
Free day to shop, sketch, journal, or nap in a hammock. Optional visit to a local artist’s studio. Final group dinner with a homemade feast under lanterns. Then flight or transfer back to Tehran.
Day 13: Departure
Warm hugs, shared playlists, promises to return.
